Head of Sustainability Asia
Tim is responsible for developing and implementing environmental and green building strategy across the region, overseeing provision of services to clients throughout Asia.
Tim is a consultant to real estate developers, investors and occupiers on strategies and solutions related to environmental, green building and corporate sustainability objectives, helping them to achieve operating efficiencies and competitive business advantages through their real estate portfolios while improving the environmental and social impacts of projects. His project experience includes LEED® EB:OM certification, Global Reporting Initiative reporting (‘GRI’), Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (‘GRESB’) consulting, facility sustainability audits, stakeholder engagement programs, green lease advisory, and corporate sustainability consulting.
Tim is also responsible for thought leadership and stakeholder engagement on sustainability issues. He has presented at various conferences, including the USGBC’s GreenBuild and for CoreNet Global, IFMA, and Responsible Investor. Tim teaches the sustainability courses of CoreNet Global’s Master of Corporate Real Estate program in Asia, and is currently serving as the APAC representative on their Global Sustainability Knowledge Advisory Panel. From 2012 to June 2014 he was a member of the USGBC’s LEED International Roundtable, coordinating the development of Greater China Regional Priority Credits for the v2009 and new LEED v4 rating systems. In November 2013 Tim became a member of the newly created GRESB APAC Benchmarking Committee and is also a member of the APREA Sustainability Committee.
